A big thanks to everyone who made it out to the South Beach Hotel (formerly the Dav) on Saturday night for Relative's inaugural Fremantle show. Friday the 9th October saw Slaughterblouse transform for Volume 3 of Clothespeg. With a DJ spinning records in the front yard, live painting, a temporary bar set up out the back and a massive showcase of 200 works from 80 contributing artists, this was an excellent exhibition in a fresh new space.

On Tuesday 15 September Western Australia's Legislative Assembly voted to ban the sale of spray paint and markers over 6mm wide to people under 18. As early as next week the bill will be debated in the Upper House.

Popsicle kicked off it's part in the 2009 Perth Fashion Festival on Wednesday night at the Perth Center for Photography. This year Popsicle displays a selection of work from 14 emerging Perth designers, showcasing their latest produce in a unique mobile retail store - a vintage bus! Evon will travel to Vietnam to produce a series of creative work titled Vietnamese women of past, present and future.
"My main area of interest is womens fashion drawing and illustration using pen, colour pencils and water colour.
